Found in the Ocean Beach Neighborhood, Ocean Beach is
actually just south of the entryway to the Objective
Bay channel. Found at 1950 Abbott Street, the beach

is a preferred place in the summer season. Throughout the

winter season, couples like to walk the beach and

just indulge in the presence.

The Ocean Beach is broad in structure, about a mile

long. Along the north end of the beach, you’ll find

a volleyball court. During the summer, the court is

constantly brimming with people playing volleyball while

the sand around it is bursting with people seeing.

At the south end of the beach
you’ll discover the Ocean
Beach Municipal Pier. The Pier is open to the general public

with lots of walking and fishing available. Located

on the pier is a bait and take on store in addition to a

dining establishment. Although you do not require a fishing license

to fish off the dock, catch regulations are enforced.

If you stroll to the south end of the beach you
‘ll discover
numerous dining establishments, surfing stores, and many other industrial

stores and facilities. Although you can take a trip to

the north end of Ocean Beach, it’s mainly surrounded by

residents of the ocean location.

The unique part of Ocean Beach is the Dog Beach, located

at the north end. This sandy area is where dogs can

run and play without a leash – anytime – day or night.

Although dog owners are responsible for their dogs and

the clean up of them, Pet Beach is actually pretty

awesome for anybody who owns pets.

For your defense along the beach, lifeguards are

out each and every day, all year. They are usually

on duty from 9 AM until dark although you can contact

them for their specific hours of operation. They are

there for your protection and very going to address

any concern that you may have.

Remember while on the beach, California beaches do

experience powerful rip currents. It’s due to the fact that of these

currents that beaches in California experience over

1,000 rescues by lifeguards every year. To be on the

For those who like surfing, surfing is permitted at

Ocean Beach in designated areas. Scuba isn’t really suggested

however, due to the fact that of the absence of undersea life, heavy

rip currents, and the browse.
