Little Italy San Diego

Little Italy in San Diego is rapidly developing as an
inner city neighborhood that’s best to reside in,

store, dine, or go to. The Little Italy offers excellent

views of the bay, art and cultural celebrations, and

terrific food.

The neighboring street sign for Little Italy, created in

1999, signals that the location is the body and soul

of San Diego’s inner neighborhood. The sign is genuinely

a signal of peace, and can be discovered on India Street

between Date and Fir.

Each and every year, there are nearly a dozen celebrations

held in Little Italy. There are tons of holiday

events, music, and art expo’s. Throughout this

time, Little Italy comes alive like never in the past.

The heart of Little Italy is India Street. This

street has plenty of outdoor coffee shops, dining establishments,

galleries, and specialty shops. Nearby Amici Park

uses a play ground for the Washington Elementary

School and a neighborhood park that’s complete with

a bocce ball court.

Larger than the Little Italy areas in New

York and San Francisco, San Diego‘s Little Italy

keeps growing and better. The waterside

district of San Diego is recovering with Little

Italy, proving to be a fantastic place for traveler

tourist attraction.
